My passion for presidential trivia fuels “The Presidonuts of the United States” series. I first acquired my set of Louis Marx & Co. presidential figurines at the Brimfield Antique Fair, and it wasn’t long before I coupled them with doughnuts.  Both are enormously photogenic.  The original figurines from the 1960s were hand-painted and now carry a rich patina.  Doughnuts, with their textures and colors are wonderfully complimentary. And they “sprinkle” U.S. history with humor.
